Mina

“See?” Pulling back from him, I offer him a bright smile. “Much better now.”

“You’re crazy, Mina.”

“Maybe I am,” I say, my eyes on his as our feet shuffle across the living room. Dancing has always been something I’m good at, but not because of any God-given talent. Diplomatic events sometimes require a good dance partner, and I always made sure I fit the bill. The curious thing is, I never really enjoyed it... up until now. Despite his lack of natural talent, there’s something about the way Raxtar moves that makes me feel safe and protected.

As the music’s rhythm swells into a crescendo, Raxtar allows the hand he has on my waist to drop slightly down. I feel his fingers on the rising curve of my backside, and my heart immediately skips a beat. Looking into his eyes, I let my lips part of their own accord, my entire body eager for more than just dancing.

I only realize we’re no longer dancing when the music stops. We’re just standing in the middle of the living room, our bodies pressed together while the warmth of desire takes over us both.

“It’s weird, you know?” I whisper. “I never thought I’d be with a Kraaj.”

“No?”

“No.” Smiling, I pull back from him. “You came here, did what you wanted with us, and you didn’t even feel bad about it. You assholes really did a number on this planet. By all means, I should hate you.”

“But you don’t.”

“I don’t hate you,” I continue, the desire I’m feeling already starting to simmer. “In fact, it’s just the opposite.” Never looking away from him, I grab my shirt by the hem and pull it over my head. Raxtar’s eyes dart toward the valley between my breasts, and I immediately notice the hard shape of his length straining against his pants. That sight alone is enough to make me remember our first time together. The way our bodies blended into one, the way his hands roamed over my naked curves...God, it was perfect.

“I never thought I’d want someone like you either.” Taking one step toward me, he reaches for my bra and unhooks it. He pushes the straps down my shoulders one at a time and, as the cool air in the room caresses my naked breasts, my nipples harden up. “You’re so small and delicate.” Using one finger only, he places it between my breasts and runs it up to my neck. He takes it all the way to my chin, and then tilts it up so that I’m looking straight into his eyes. “You have no idea how much I want you.”

“I think I do,” I whisper and, without a moment’s hesitation, flatten the palm of my hand between his legs. A shiver runs up my spine as I feel his hardness throb against my fingers, and an avalanche of lust swallows every single thought I have. Right now, my rational mind has surrendered the steering wheel to my instincts.

“I want to make you mine,” Raxtar continues, his tone dipping into a growl.
